but I paid £200 ($400) for my LG viewty on t-mobile (google it)

1) GPS. This cellular positioning crap is worthless. Doesn't even work half the time.

2) Better primary camera and secondary forward facing VGA camera for video conferencing ala iChat.

3) HSUPA-upgradeable (~3.5G) for fast/low latency uplink in addition to standard UMTS/HSDPA

Will the carrier(s) stay with a data plan of $20 for all you can eat for 3G?
The minimum Iphone package voice/data is $70. Could it eclipse a $100 or more with 3G?

Cost of service is not $70. It is $59.99 $62.33 in louisiana With tax . I myself am not sure if i will diss out anymore money on an Iphone 3g unless i can get Real GPS. My current *gig modle is fine for me. Map system is OK and has helped me out a few times around finding places. I mainly use my phone as a well phone then a MP3 player. INter net useage when i am bored at work. Better battery life would be great. i can barely get 3 hours of intert net surfing before th4e 10% thing pops up. But beside that i am ok.

it really is a simplification of life. If i can leave the house in the morning with just a phone, instead of a phone, an ipod, a game machine, a pda and a gps, I'm a happier, more peaceful guy!
