New Dell notebooks to offer EV-DO and HSDPA wireless broadband connectivity

Dell today said that its next-generation notebooks will integrate Qualcomm’s Gobi chip, which can connect users to both EV-DO and HSDPA mobile broadband networks. According to the company, the technology will be available on upcoming Latitude, Precision, and consumer laptops.

There was no information on availability and pricing of these models.
