Linksys, a division of Cisco Systems, reportedly plans to actively push sales of its network-equipment products into markets other than North America, currently the company's primary market, according to market sources in Taiwan. Declining market share in North America over the past year has pushed Linksys to bring forward the market diversification plan, said the sources, who also indicated that Linksys projects to bring down the ratio of North American revenues to total revenues to below 50%.
