The macbook air is nothing more than bragging rights of how much money you have to waste on a useless Apple product. For less money get a Macbook Pro 15.4" with better.. well everything. It is still plenty light and much better built.

That out of the way, Who in their right mind would buy a laptop meant to be "neat, Cool, and thin" and think they could put Vista on it and it would run great? Even ALL bugs aside, Vista is a hog, and the Macbook air's stats are less than impressive.

if he had used Boot Camp as it's the obvious path for most users. If he had found his method generated superior results in terms of stability, performance, etc then it would have been interesting. As it is I don't know whether his problems are real or self-inflicted.

Many people like the mac look and feel but hate the OS. Plus, people (Windows and Linux techs) like to put OSs on machines that aren't supposed to run them.

Air owners will have a long neck when they're waiting at the airprot seeing others are watching DVD movies. Wait, they can bring an external drive, but that wouldn't be so "air" any more would it?
