The PDP market, which ended the year 2007 with good results, saw shipments for January 2008 drop 13% from the previous month to 1.15 million units due to seasonal effects, according to Displaybank. The decline in shipments has also drawn down revenues by 21% on-month to US$500 million and the average selling price (ASP) calculated by dividing revenues by shipment volume was down 9% on-month to $439.
