Redmond (WA) - More than a half dozen classic Nintendo games will be playable in the highly anticipated upcoming Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Brawl is the latest in one of Nintendo's most prolific franchises.  It brings together classic video game mascots in a free-for-all fighting competition.  The game will include a newly unveiled feature called "masterpieces", which allows players to try out short demos of the characters' original titles.

"You can relive the greatest battles of the biggest star characters through demo versions of their games," said one of Brawl's developers Masahiro Sakurai on the game's official website.

For example, sample versions of Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, and Ice Climber.  Additional confirmed titles are Kirby's Adventure, Super Metroid, and Star Fox 64.  Sakurai did not announce any other titles that will be part of the feature, adding, "That discovery is part of the fun, isn’t it?"

Brawl was originally scheduled for release during last year's holiday season.  However, production delays have pushed it back a couple times to bring it to March 9.

It will bring many features to the series for the first time, most notable of which is the ability to play online against other players around the world.  Also, third-party characters will join the fight, with Sonic the Hedgehog and Metal Gear Solid's Snake appearing in Brawl.

Title says it all. It will even be way wayyyyy, better than halo 3, awwww. Yeah, that's right! I'm mocking the haloo 3 fans. Does H3 have the Subspace Emissiary? NO!!!! Does it have classic arcade games you can play from the 80's? NO! Does it have stickers and whatever else you can do to power-up? Nu-uh. Does it have assist trophies or final smash balls? nope. H3lo's reign is about to end. So, Mister Cheif (I don't care if I said his name wrong) say hello to Brawl!!! H3lono is brainwashing kids into thinking Mister Chef that he saves the human race...I got 2 words for that...bull-crap!! Say good-bye H3lo fans...Brawl is about to become the most epic, and greatest multiplayer game in history...you just watch. Go to any retailer site like Target.com or Best-Buy.com and people say it will the best game...EVER!!!

I can only hope that this game lives up to the hype that everyone has been waiting for. With all the delays, it has too be that good.
