D-Link has lowered unit prices of its entry-level 802.11n routers sold in North America to below $50, aiming to drive shipments of its 802.11n products up to its goal of two million units set for this year, according to sources from the Taiwan network-equipment industry. The cuts brought the prices of D-Link's entry-level 802.11n routers down to more than 35% below those offered by its rivals, including Linksys and Netgear, noted the industry sources.
