eBay tops e-commerce sites after Thanksgiving |

New York (NY) – According to Nielson/NetRatings, eBay has beaten all other e-commerce sites in traffic for the day after Thanksgiving. This is the second year in a row that eBay has trounced major competitors like Amazon.com and Wal-Mart’s website.
The Friday after Thanksgiving is considered a major shopping day for the holiday season and accounts for almost 10% of all sales for the holidays. Electronic payment provider PayPal, which is part of eBay, also saw impressive gains with a 33% increase in payment amounts from 2006. Read more … Forbes.
