Projectors with native 720p resolution proved to be a great value for consumers in the third quarter, with Quixel Research indicating that USA unit sales for the 720p resolution segment grew 43% from the second quarter of 2007 and the segment captured 40% of the total market for the third quarter. According to Tamaryn Pratt, Quixe principal, although the front projector market is very segmented, the 720p category blossomed in the third quarter; all the top selling products were 720p and they were all priced below US$1300, many even included a screen.
