Nashville (TN) - When Don Imus takes his new radio gig in December, he'll be crossing into new territory - HDTV.

RFD-TV, a television network targeting rural America, will launch an HD version of the channel in December, just in time for Imus's return to radio.  The TV network will be airing a simulcast of the grizzly man's morning show, and yes, it will be available in full high definition.

Imus's long-running morning radio show was cancelled earlier this year after he made racially insensitive remarks about the Rutgers women's basketball team.  However, he soon received a new offer from local New York affiliate WABC.  Imus's previous show ran on CBS radio and on the cable network MSNBC.

I guess the target audience won't be "nappy headed ...

Sharpton is still on tv. He a bigger racist than imus could ever dream of. Imus hasn't even gotten anyone killed. Sharpton has incited riots causing numerous deaths. Atleast now things will be balanced again.

How is "nappy headed hoes" racially insensitive? Man, I still can't believe he got suspended. He was following FCC guidlines just like he was supposed to. If he would have said 'nappy headed hoes' about anybody else, he would still be on the air. Anyone who was for his firing is a hypocritical, groveling boob.

Imus is coming back on the one cable channel I don't care anything about, not even enough to ask my cable company to add it... and if they did, I'd probably lose something I really want, like C-Span2, or TCM. Radio it is, I guess...

Al Roker Should Be Removed from thr Air

Al Roker attacked two million babies and young children with epilepsy and sizeure disorder in May. He refuses to apologize. He was the one who called for Imus to resign. Then he hid when millions of partents, friends and care givers asked him to elaborate. Why didn't he resign like he wanted Imus to. He must be fired, the coward.
