Culver City (CA) - The most anticipated platformer title for the Playstation 3 to date has a glitch that could prevent some users from creating a save file for the game.
According to Insomniac Games, the developer of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, some users will receive a message saying there is insufficient space to create the small save file, even if they have plenty of room left on their hard drive. "We recently discovered a bug on the US version of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction that some of you may encounter the first time you boot the game. With specific amounts of free space on your drive, you may see a screen that tells you have insufficient space to create game data," wrote the Insomniac community manager James Stevenson on the company's official website. The glitch will occur apparently based on the makeup of the content stored on the hard drive, but Insomniac did not provide details beyond that. The problem will be solved if the user deletes 500 MB or more from their PS3 hard drive, according to the developer. Future copies of the game are expected to weed out this glitch.
