Microsoft Vista/IE 7 Flash video issues PDF Print E-mail

Culver City (CA) – Some of you may have problems viewing our Flash videos.  It appears that some Internet Explorer 7 users are seeing a blank spot where the video player should be.  This usually happens with people running the Windows Vista operating system.

This is a known issue to Microsoft and Adobe and there are several blog/technical support posts by representatives from both companies.  On our test machines, we can replicate the problem, but none of the fixes work.

Our suggestion is to install Firefox because all of our Flash videos run great in that browser.

Update – The problem may be linked to the Joomla video plugin that we are using as our test machines can play YouTube flash videos just fine.

Thanks,
Humphrey Cheung
