Lacie today announced the "Biggest Quadra", a 4-disk RAID enclosure with up to 4 TB of storage space. The device has been designed to appeal to workstation users and supports RAID levels 0, 0+1, 5 as well as 5 + hot spare. The Biggest Quadra is scheduled to ship in September for retail prices of $1100 for a 2 TB version; the 3 TB model will sell for $1600 and the 4 TB model for $2200.

I remember back in 94 when the 410MB(that's right kiddos megabytes) where running almost 450 bucks, and even then getting one of those guys was over kill. Remember saying "WOW that's a big drive, I could never fill all of that!!" :-) those were the days!

i remember the old days when i used to remember that i remembered of the old days when i rememberd of the old days when i used to live in the days of when i remembered that remembering of how technology was great in the old days was getting repetitive.

560 MB

My first computer (1991) had a super big drive.. 50 MB. When I was a teenager (1995), my dad bought me a big big hard drive.. which has 560 MB of space. Wow that's awesome back in the days. My next computer (1998) had a massive 3GB hard disk. Then the next computer (2000) had a 15GB monster one. And guess what.. my current USB flash drive is 512MB... and going to buy a 8GB one this weekend!!!
