Tokyo (Japan) – AMD has announced what is expected to be the final and highest performing version of its 90 nm dual-core desktop processor series.
![]() Demo system with a 3.0 GHz quad-core Phenom X4 processor AMD said that the processor will be available at the end of August for about $240, which translates into a 35% premium over the 3.0 GHz 6000+ processor, which is currently offered for a tray price of $178.
