I blame all the idiots who click on spam e-mail and actually buy the products marketed by spam. If these people stopped, spammers would not be making any money and thus would stop as well. What I want to know is who the hell actually clicks on spam e-mail links and buys the shady products...IDIOTS!

I think the article made it clear who is clicking on these ads...addicts, mentally ill folks, ect... Its unfortunate that the internet can be used this way, but con artists have always found a way to target and exploit the vulnerable in society. That's why its up to those of us who know better to do something about it when we see something shady going down. Care how you act, act like you care...

It's not actually people buying it, but simply the clicks. So if Mr. Idiot X clicks on "make your ***** bigger" because he has never seen spam and is a pc noob, then Ed form above gets somewhere around $0.10 (at most).

times that by 50000, per email and assume of those 50000 mails, half go through. 25000 mails of which, we assume 10% will click (even accidentally) on the link. That's 2500 people. times the $0.10 = $250

And he does 50000 mails in about 30 seconds. Quickest $250 u'll ever make.
