People like them just ruin it for all of the responsible people out there who play games, but also have their priorities in order.

I've walked away from groups mid-instance to handle a family matter with my son, because he's more important. Sure I try to tell my group what's going on out of politeness, but sometimes you don't have the time.

The sad thing (next to the appalling treatment of the aforementioned children) is the impact this will have on the other 99% of gamers who had nothing to do with it.

Should people like this even be allowed to breed? Yet another anti-video game lawsuit waiting to happen.

"It's not our fault that we played video games constantly and didn't care about our kids. Its the game manufacturer's fault."

D&D Online isn't even that good a game.

The people were just screwed up. If they were'nt distracted by the internet, they would be distracted by something else. The booze made me do it, the grass made me do it, the internet made me do it. How about, you should have never had children to begin with.

In a few days we are going to see some garbage about how video games caused this blah blah blah. Those people should have been fixed an not allowed to have children period.

In the wild there is a saying "Only the strong survive." This is one of the many cases in which I wish that this saying was true for the human race, people like this do not need to survive. People do not learn to be dumb, they are born that way.

This all comes back to the people who want to ban videogames, this is just fuel for their fire and I'll be if they take it away from me. I can see it now: "Federal Case won against Videogames destroying youth blah blah (insert crap here) on account of the Reno couple starving their childern."

I've just about given up on MMORPGs as a whole. Why because they are the new cyber punk crowd where they can pretend to be someone else and flaunt their little animated toon with its uber gear and feel important.

I left EQ2 because of a guild I was in. One leader was married but his wife didn't play. This guy spent over 50 hours weekly in the game. Nearly every day. The co-leader was his "online wife". She was on more than he was and this truly was her life. She was caught doing cyber stuff with other members of the guild a couple of times also. These people have nothing going for them in R/L. So they turn to games liek these to try and feel more important. I'm getting tired ofthose games and their online drama.

I cant wait to hear his over-zealous and under-informed rant on this one.............

Every little thing like a massacre at a school or people dieing because they didn't' eat for 50 hours straight are being blamed on video games. Never mind the good news that has come out. Such as surgeons are better at their jobs because of games such as God of War. In that game Kratos (main character) wields two blades called the "The Blades of Chaos" He uses it with such precision to hack and slash body parts of humans, dogs, 3 headed dogs and demons and all that helps surgeons keep a steady hand during their operation process. Again, this is just pathetic. Stop wasting our time by reporting on the negativity of playing videogames. What those parents did was obviously inexcusable but don't blame the entire industry for their mistake. Everybody deserves to play a game and enjoy their time. Don't make it out to be some evil deed. With that said. I am definitely looking forward to Grand Theft Auto 4 this year. That game is gonna rock!

Not every one should be parents. Some are just to irresponsible to be a mother/father.

Here we go again. Some set of idiots screw up and we gamers are to blame. I have no idea how people get so sucked into the games. I usualy play for a bit get bored go to another then go back.

These people are messed up. They cannot sreiously blame the game. I'm pretty sure the kids were crying all the time.
