HP wins big NASA contract

Palo Alto (CA) - Hewlett-Packard has won a huge NASA contract to the tune of $5.6 billion dollars.  HP will provide desktop, workstation and server computers over seven years.  The company will also provide Blade computers and printers

The deal is under the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement plan which provides for indefinite delivery and quantities.  HP has delivered more than $620 million dollars of goods and services to federal agencies since 1992 through the previous SEWP contracts.
