Redwood City (CA) - EA Mobile has announced plans to bring out a quartet of new casual games to the fifth-generation iPod platform.

The announcement came during a conference call with financial analysts, during which EA CFO revealed the name of one of the upcoming games, The Sims Bowling, reports Macworld.  Other titles were not unveiled.

EA is currently the main provider of games for the iPod, with available titles including Tetris, Pac-Man, Sudoku, and Ms. Pac-Man.

The iPod video game library stands at just over one dozen titles, each available for around $5 each.

wow! over games for the ipod, that's great for apple. That's gotta be more games compared to the mac workstations. Maybe if more people bought macs, they'd make games for them, as in the case of the ipod.

For everybody who wants to try out something new in sudoku, try shendoku, using the sudoku rules but playing two people, one against the other, like battleshipps.
