led based video should hit pretty big, save for the brightness factor... there is currently a pocket sized projector (see newegg) that's led based, but it comes at a wicked low 50 lumens... i'm running a 1600 lumen projector now, which isn't bad. but bulb replacement kills the investment. If they could bust out even a 1500 lumen led with no bulb replacement for under 1000 dollars, i think it would fly off the shelves... not to mention low power consumption and nothing toxic like the standard mercury bulbs used now.
