Redmond (WA) – With a brief disruption, Microsoft is back on its usual monthly cycle of software and security updates. The company plans to six security related updates and six non-security related updates next week.

According to a notification posted on Microsoft’s TechNet website today, the update package scheduled for release next Tuesday will include four at least partially critical security updates for Windows and one critical update for the Content Management Server (CMS). There will also be a new version of the firm’s Malicious Software Removal Tool.

Additionally, Microsoft will issue a total of six non-security updates related for Windows. Microsoft will be hosting a webcast, in which company representatives will be answering questions about the addressed security bulletins, the company said.
