Mitac buys Navman PND business for $16 million PDF Print E-mail

Mitac International on March 23 announced it has finished the acquisition of Brunswick New Technologies' (BNT) GPS portable navigation device (PND) business unit, including the brand Navman and operating assets and liabilities, at a total price of $16 million. Mitac's acquisition cost is at least NT$150 million (US$4.55 million) lower than BNT's asking price, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
