More than 15000 crazed Blizzard Entertainment fans packed will pack into the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend for the 3rd Blizzcon convention.  Attendees braved long lines to grab their badges, but they didn’t seem to mind as a playable demo of Diablo 3 awaited them inside.  Content teases of the upcoming Starcraft II and World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King also soothed the savage fans.

Apple suggests Nvidia is dishonest about GPU failures

Apple took an unusually hard shot at Nvidia’s credibility yesterday: Apple said that it found that GeForce GPUs used in some Macbook Pro systems are failing, while Nvidia “assured” the company that the supply to Apple was not affected by what appears to be a GPU packaging issue.

The world’s dominant hard drive manufacturer will begin offering flash-based solid state disk (SSD) drives next year. Seagate told Cnet that the drives will be offered to enterprise customers first, while consumer drives will be sold “later.”
