Worldwide IPTV service revenues to reach $19 billion in 2012, says Gartner

Worldwide subscriptions to internet Protocol television (IPTV) services are on pace to reach 19.6 million subscribers in 2008, a 64.1% increase from 12 million subscribers in 2007, according to Gartner. Worldwide IPTV revenues are projected to total US$4.5 billion in 2008, a 93.5% increase from 2007 revenues of US$2.3 billion.
