Mobile data revenues hit $100 billion in 2005

  • Global revenues from mobile data services surpassed $100 billion for the first time, in 2005, at $102.1 billion, according to Informa Telecoms & Media. Strong data revenue growth has continued into 2006, with the first-quarter figure of $28.4 billion up 17% on-year, the research indicated.
