Apple must answer Microsoft's challenge: analyst

  • Although Microsoft's plans to launch its new music player and online music service, Zune, later this year could create some volatility for Apple Computer shares, Bear Stearns Equity Research analyst Andrew Neff expects Apple to respond with new innovations.

    Specifically, the analyst is looking for innovations to Apple's iPod in four areas: wireless, content, storage and platforms.
