Taipei (Taiwan) - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) have both warned or reported on investment losses for Q4 operations. TSMC has seen $16.1 million in losses with its stake in Vanguard International Semiconductor. UMC expects to see over $152 million in losses from its stake in ProMOS Technologies.
