Dell has recently placed orders for 3.5mm ultra-thin panels with LG Display and Samsung Electronics that are believed to be used in its upcoming Adamo notebooks, according to market sources. The panels are of in 16:10 format, and the prices of the ultra-thin notebooks are expected to be as much as $3000, a lot higher than the $1800 for Apple's MacBook Air, the sources said.
