Low-end notebooks are seeing pricing declines as a rise in netbook popularity begin to overtake the market. HP, Acer and Dell have all lowered low-end notebook prices with Pentium Dual-Core T3200, T2390 and T1600 CPUs. Additional price reductions are expected in January or February, 2009.
