Despite that the current financial outlook is weakening, Acer chairman JT Wang still believes the economy is not as bad as it looks and is optimistic about the company's shipments performance in the fourth quarter this year and even in 2009. Wang also said he is confident about the prospects for the notebook industry as a whole.
