Intel and Hollywood are two words that that just sound strange when used in one sentence and at least Intel’s first serious try to join Oscar winning actors on the red carpet was canceled. But while Viiv is gone, Intel has no intentions on giving up hope that the blue logo will be in the spotlight of movie premieres in the future.

Following news that the company will equip Dreamworks with Nehalem and Larrabee technology, Dreamworks apparently agreed to provide Intel with some room on its movie posters. A new brand, “InTru™ 3D” will “be employed by Intel and DreamWorks in promotion of 3-D movies”, the two companies said, telling the tech-savvy movie goer that a certain movie was made with Nehalem and Larrabee hardware. The logo will first appear within the "Monsters vs. Aliens" movie.
We are wondering whether the audience will care.
