Notebook panel prices are coming under pressure for reductions as inventory levels at system makers are running a bit high, according to industry sources. Notebook makers actively built up their LCD panel inventory levels during the first quarter in anticipation of price hikes for the panel segment in the second quarter, the sources noted.
