Around 29.35 and 36.84 million PCs were shipped to China in 2006 and 2007, respectively, according to a recent IDC report, which also added that by 2011, shipments are expected to increase to 64.94 million units with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.2%. The report detailed that in 2007 Lenovo remained the largest vendor in China with a market share of 28.8% followed by Hewlett-Packard (HP) with 10.7%.
