Sacramento (CA) – A California State task force is recommending the issuing of infrastructure bonds to fund broadband improvements.  According to Reuters, the California Broadband Initiative Task Force is recommending the bonds to increase broadband penetration into rural and underserved markets.  The task force did not specific the type or amount of the bonds.
