Apple without Jobs? Nyet, says Larry Ellison

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison is not exactly optimistic about the future of Apple without Steve Jobs at the helm.

Indeed, during a recent interview with Charlie Rose on the set of “This Morning” (set to air today), Ellison alluded to a less-than-stellar future for Cupertino without his close friend.

“We already know,” said Jobs, when asked about what Apple would be like without Steve.

“We saw – we conducted the experiment,” Ellison explained. “I mean, it’s been done. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. We saw Apple without Steve Jobs. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. Now, we’re gonna see Apple without Steve Jobs.”

According to Ellison, Jobs was a “brilliant” CEO who helped guide Apple to success.

“I mean, he was our Edison. He was our Picasso. He was an incredible inventor,” Ellison added.
