Tallahassee (FL) – The Florida Bar will proceed with its disbarment hearing against infamous game violence activist Jack Thompson.  Thompson isn’t going down without a fight and has filed several motions against the Bar, according to GamePolitics.

The ethics hearing is looking into Thompson’s professional conduct and the attorney could face a range of penalties all the way to full disbarment.  Thompson filed a lawsuit against the bar to prevent the hearing from going forward, but that was unsuccessful.  He also has says he’s willing to accept a 90-day suspension.

According to GamePolitics, the Bar has set an entire week for the hearing.  This should be very interesting as Thompson is known for his quirky courtroom antics - something you can see for yourself in the above YouTube video of his contempt of court hearing from a previous case.
