The recent drastic decline of branded 1Gb DDR2 prices has pushed the price of DDR2 1Gb eTT chips to an historic low, according to sources at Taiwan DRAM makers. 1Gb DDR2 eTT chips recently traded at $1.23 on average, compared to $1.26 quoted for branded 1Gb DDR2 parts, the sources indicated.
