DRAM contract quotes in the early half of February saw a boost of around 3%, according to figures from DRAMeXchange. However, even an increase of above 5% would still leave DRAM makers seeing losses in the first quarter, and so DRAM makers continue to be unwilling to let PC OEMs cut contract quotes, according to sources at DRAM makers.
