Although NAND flash quotes were relatively stable in the first half of November, only dropping around 0-5%, according to DRAMeXchange, industry sources are afraid that with makers heading to 50nm production, plus falling market demand, quotes in the first quarter of 2008 will see a big slide. Currently, all of Toshiba's 12-inch wafer plants have already entered 56nm process production, while Samsung Electronics has also transformed most of its plants to 50nm and should complete the transition by the beginning of 2008.
